How to lead a happier life

To be happy is one of the most genuine feelings you can ever have in your life and living an enjoyable life gives meaning to your existence. Although happiness is fleeting and fades after some time, you have to have a desire to want to experience happiness in every moments you encounter in order to find the happiness you deserved and therefore lead a happier life. Without wanting to lead a happier life and finding happiness in each moment you had, you will most definitely let your emotions control you and be all over the place. One day you could feel happy and then the next day you feel empty and sadness consumes you, But If you put your mind to constantly think that you will be happy, that you need to be happy, and you find happiness in all the things that you do, then you are at the right mindset to better your life and you’ll learn how to remain happy always.

No matter what the situation is or the circumstances that you faced currently, you should always find a way to make yourself happy. Even the simplest things can make you do so. Start by being grateful and contented with the little things that you have in your life and appreciate all the moments and things that make you happy right now. Of course, there will always be a certain amount of things that we can’t have or achieve right now but that doesn’t mean you have to put yourself in the position to feel sorry for, Instead, be appreciative of what you can achieve for now, and work your way up to reach for your future goals and dreams. Happiness doesn’t mean you’re living a good life now but you’re leading a happy life that appreciates and values all of what you have.

Happiness is the feeling of truly enjoying your life and the desire to make the very best of it. Although, Life is not always about being happy because certainly there are challenges that comes along the way in our life that we can’t control, but what we can control is how we faced those challenging times to live a life full of positivity and have the desire to choose and value the happiness emotion that whenever we feel down, we always find our way to the brighter side of things. If you are one to constantly have many problems that occur in your life, you don’t have to run away from it because it isn’t the solution, face it and handle all of the hardships that you encounter as it is how you will progress, because after you have grown, that is how you start feeling good with your life again and how you will align yourself with the happiness you are longing to experience all the time.

  1. Appreciate everything that you have in your life:

 There are so many things to be grateful for and those are the little things that you are lucky for having in your life. For instance, if you are someone who is born privileged and have access for most things that other people doesn’t and yet you are still wanting for more, don’t get me wrong its normal to want things to better your life, but if you don’t appreciate the things that you have in your life right now, then what makes you think you are going to appreciate the bigger things that will come in your life soon.

If you are living a life filled with gratitude, you are noticing that not everyone is as privileged as you. You become emphatic towards other people and that’s the most important factor in leading a happy life. There are so many people who are fighting battles we don’t know of. They may put their life on the line as a job, they might be living in a third world country where everything around them is economically poor, and they may even not have enough food on their table to consume. With that said, if you are living a life with foods on your table, beds to sleep to, then you should be grateful that you are and that’s how you’ll find happiness in everything. It’s the little things that matter the most

  1. Accept your past mistakes and don’t regret on your past doings:

Accepting your mistakes is how you will grow as a person and not looking back and regretting all the things you’ve done in the past will allow you to move forward in your life and look for the happiness you are searching within. That being said, you are aligning yourself towards leading a happier life because you aren’t thinking negatively and only looking at the positive side of things.

  1. Love Yourself:

 Love yourself enough to walk away from certain things that don’t serve you right. If you are always being put down and not happy with the current circumstances that you face right now, then it is time to walk away from it and find happiness elsewhere.

  1. Do things you are passionate about:

By doing things you are passionate about, you are not only finding your purpose and meaning in life but you are also attracting happiness to come your way. If you love the things that you do, each moment will bring you joy and happiness that you need in your life.

  1. Cut down negative thinking of yourself

Negative thinking is just blockage that blocks your progress to lead a better and happy life. When you have a lower self- esteem, you are likely seeing yourself of low value in your image which makes you feel down and low all the time. By doing that, you are putting yourself into a situation where you aren’t being appreciative of yourself. Having said that, you have to cut out all the negative thinking because it’s all in the mind. What you are is a reflection of what you think, so when you feel positive towards yourself you allow yourself to be happy with what you are and the way you live your life.
