Fried Rice with Mixed Vegetables
For a healthy diet with all the important nutrients you need especially for carbohydrates, rice is a good example of it. If you don’t necessarily want to eat plain steamed rice, there are other options you can choose to make, examples are “Corsican rice, garlic rice and this special right here: Fried Rice with Mixed Vegetables”, where you can eat and be full right away because of its nutrient filled ingredients.
Here are the ingredients and procedure of this recipe:
- 1 cloves of Garlic
- 1 pack of Mixed Veggies
- 2 cups of cooked rice (you can choose a plain white rice but for healthier alternatives opt for brown rice)
- 1 stick Butter
- Salt to taste
- Ground black pepper to taste
- 1 tsp Turmeric powder
- Oil to fry
- 1 Egg
STEP 1: Beat the egg in a bowl with salt then in a medium-high heat, fry the egg in a pan to make an omelette and place it aside.
STEP 2: fry the cloves of garlic in a pan with oil and when brown put the cooked rice, the mixed veggies and butter and mix it. Add the salt, pepper and turmeric powder depending on preferable taste. Add the fried egg and stir it all together until completely done.
STEP 3: Serve and Enjoy!
